It's another IWSG posting day, where writers far and wide share their insecurities and offer encouragement to each other. The captain of the IWSG ship, Alex, has a wonderful group of able assistants who will be helping him make the rounds today - Stephen Tremp, Fundy Blue, MJ Fifield, Loni Townsend, Bish Denham, Susan Gourley, and Stephanie Faris!
If you don't belong to the group, sign up here and join an awesome band of supportive writers.

We writers are great at bouncing back after exhausting periods of time, aren't we? I'm really enjoying the IWSG newsletter. Have a great month and feel energized soon :)
ReplyDeleteThat we are, Nicola. Glad you're enjoying the newsletter. Thanks for your good wishes.
DeleteI was so burnt that I forgot all about IWSG but I'm firing other cylinders and will be sure to be back on top fully in time to do my June IWSG post. Just prioritize Joy and watch that energy level rise. *Hugs*
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sheena, and you do the same. Hugs to you!
DeleteI know I burnt a lot of mine.
ReplyDeleteAt least we have something cool to celebrate this week!
I'm still burning the candle, big time.
ReplyDeleteApril was exhausting for me as well but I'm believing that this month and the rest of this year will be super productive and successful for us all.
ReplyDeleteHi, J.L.! I'm making the rounds as an IWSG co-host today, and from what I have been reading, April has been quite the month for everyone! Me too! Several of you have been showcasing the anthology, and I can't wait to get my hands on a copy. It's exciting to see so many authors I've met through the IWSG! I hope all is well with you and that your writing is flowing! Take care!
ReplyDeleteI don't anyone who participated in the A to Z Blog Challenge has a fuse that is not burned out. It comes with the challenge. Hope you recover and regenerate quickly.
ReplyDeleteShalom,
Patricia
I'm excited about stepping into those parallel universes. I can't write those, but I enjoy reading them.
ReplyDeleteIf you're feeling that burn-out feeling coming on, maybe you should take a few days off from writing?
ReplyDeleteI can imagine you need a bit of a break after the A-Z month. Get some rest and recharge!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to reading this great anthology.
Hi JL, it doesn't matter where I go today I see Parallels: Felix Was Here. Slapping myself on the forehead because I forgot to include it. D-oh!

April was an insane month for me, too, though I didn't do the A-to-Z. I'm really enjoying May, so far.
ReplyDeleteI know all about the burnt out fuse...time to recharge...

Hope your fuses are all reset now!
ReplyDeleteYeah, April was exhausting. I hope you're doing better.
ReplyDeleteI'm hearing the same thing from almost everyone. Seriously, I feel the same way. What do we do, other than just keep plugging along? Sorry, I'm late, Joy. Life slows for no man, or woman.
