Psst! It's that time of year already. Did I hear you asking what time? Well, the A to Z Blogging Challenge will return in April and it's time to sign up and start planning.
The brainchild of Arlee Bird, at Tossing it Out, the A to Z Challenge consists of posting every day in April except Sundays (we get those off for good behavior.) And since there are 26 days, that matches the 26 letters of the alphabet. On April 1, blog about something that begins with the letter “A.” April 2 is “B,” April 4 is “C,” and so on. You can use a theme for the month or go random – just as long as it matches the letter of the alphabet for the day.
The A to Z Challenge is a great way to get into the blogging habit and make new friends. For more details and its history, go HERE.
Hop over to the site to sign up and get additional information about the challenge.
I'm on the hunt for some industrious individuals to help me check a section of the sign-up list during the challenge. If you're game, leave me a message in the comments or email me at jmwordsmith at gmail dot com. Thanks!
Apart from the A-Z Challenge, I have other exciting news. It's drawing ever closer to the release date of the Valentine Pets & Kisses Boxed set. Fourteen talented writers have produced this collaboration of sweet romance novellas, each with a cuddly pet. Pre-order yours before the price goes up!

ReplyDeleteSweet! That's good news. :)
DeleteI've signed up for year 7! (What am I thinking?) If I decide to be a minion, I will join the Joyful Brigade.
ReplyDeleteWhoo-hoo! Thank so much, Bish. It would be lovely if you joined the team. :)
DeleteI'm impressed by the dedication that challenge calls for. Every day! I don't think I'll ever have the time, but hats off to those of you who do, and good luck.
ReplyDeleteYup, it does take up a fair amount of time. The trick is to plan ahead.
DeleteYay for A to Z! I'd sign up to help but I'm taking a blogging break in April to focus on everything else that needs my attention. Have fun with it! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Chrys. Every year I say I won't but then I do.
DeleteI'm excited for A to Z. Good luck with your upcoming release. Sounds exciting and just in time.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Susan. I'm looking forward to both.
Delete2016 A-Z is going to rock! Congrats on the upcoming book Joy.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sheena-kay and thanks for dropping in.
DeleteThe Valentine Pets & Kisses set is SO cute! I hope it's a big success. Trying to make up my mind about the A-Z. I swore I wasn't going to do it again but then it has a way of pulling me in LOL.
ReplyDeleteJulie, I know. I keep saying I'm not and then the time comes around and I'm back in.
DeleteI've signed up just this morning. I'm so excited... though I feel so behind with preparation.
ReplyDeleteThis will be my second year. Last year, I thought I woulnd't make it when I was halfway through the month, because I came to a point I was writing in the morning what I posted at night. This year I hope to have all my posts ready when I start. Let's hope. So I'll be free to just networl :-)
Hey, Sara. Thanks for visiting. Yes, it makes sense to try and get some of the posts done early. It makes life a lot easier.
