IWSG & News on #NewAdult Novel - Perfection

Monday, January 5, 2015

Here's wishing for you a wonderful year filled with productivity.

The first big thing for the IWSG is coming on Wednesday. We'll be asking you to include a brief introduction with your IWSG post. Just a little bit about who you are and what you do. Remember to keep your posts concise since there are a lot of group members to visit. Also, please try and stop in with at least five persons who are new to you and share the love.

The year is off to a rollicking start for me with my next book scheduled to be released on February 14. I have put a tentative schedule in place for the first half of the year, but need to work out the second half.

Since it worked so well last time, I'll be doing another Thunderclap campaign for February's New Adult story, Perfection. I'm asking you to help me send out a tweet on February 14 to announce the book's release. Click on the picture below and it will take you to my Thunderclap page. It will ask you if you want to support by Facebook, Twitter or Tumblr. Choose the option/s that best suit/s you. Thanks so much for your help.

Click through to Thunderclap page.

Perfection can be pre-ordered at the special price of $1.99 on Amazon. The cost will increase on the release date, so reserve your copy now!

What new thing are you trying this year? Have you worked out any kind of schedule for your writing or whatever else you plan to achieve?

See you on Wednesday for the Insecure Writer's Support Group post!

  1. I'm still in recovery from that first Thunderclap campaign. But I made it, thanks to your sending me the link to the fb group. Couldn't have done it otherwise. Big hug again. Good luck with your #2. I've already supported that one. :-)

    1. The great thing about Thunderclap is that you don't have to do anything more. The tweet will go out automatically. Thanks a million!

  4. You are one busy writer woman! I am very impressed. I definitely have a schedule for project completion for each of my works. But life always throws a monkey wrench each and every time. So my schedule is never written in ink, per se. Excited for the release of your NA!

    1. Thanks, Susan. I know about those monkey wrenches. I used the time over the holidays well and I'm relearning to steal all the time I need to write.

    1. Thanks so much for your support, Angela. The only advice I'd offer other than 'go for it!' is to leave yourself enough time so you're not rushing to get to 100 supporters.

  10. Joy, Happy New Year to you and yours! I've long given up on a writing schedule. I write in bits and pieces and at the end of the week add it all up. I'm usually happy with the progress I've made.

    1. Thanks, Stephen. Life with a full-time job in it makes scheduling difficult, but when I look back, I realize I could have achieved so much more with a bit of discipline. Still, whatever works, I say.

  13. First thing I'm going to do is find out more about Thunderclap. Love the new cover. You're inspiring me in so many ways, Joy!

  14. The cover spells romance and young love. Congrats again, Joy. "Me proud a you till all me proudness rise above." Kinda copying Louise Bennet - the upside. Get it. (Lol)
