The A-Z’s now in the past
The numerous visits were a blast
A sedate pace is now in order
With the Challenge round the corner
I resolved to write my posts
Before February became a ghost
But alas I never finished
Before my energy diminished
Blog tags made visiting easy
Following the list oh, so breezy
A few lonely blogs I found
But left some good cheer all around
Made some friends on the run
Renewed others by the ton
Still, I missed some wonderful people
Though the Challenge was a vehicle
Got us rolling with aplomb
Making blog posts for each day
That kept the IWSG in play
Thanks to Arlee
and his hosts
About the Challenge we can boast
Bloggers scored a victory
Now my rhyme is at an end
And the Challenge round the bend
In 2015 we will see
Another renewal of the A-Z
So how does it feel to complete the Challenge? Did you stay away from the computer this weekend? What new projects are on the boil for you this coming week?
Great poem! It sumed up everything nicely and I loved the cartoon!
ReplyDeleteI had a lot of fun with the challenge and now I'm using ROW80 (a round of words in 80 days) to keep my goals in check.

Well done, Cely. You're one of the gooduns I met this Challenge. Good to keep those goals in view.
DeleteSo cute! I love it. Nobody was around this weekend, so it's nice to have people back. I used the weekend to clean up my "Followers" list so I'd at least know when those using Blogger have posted new blogs. I had a lot of people on there I'd chosen to follow years ago. I love your cartoon, too.
ReplyDeleteHi, Stephanie, I should do that too. So many blogs I haven't visited in a while and some folks have stopped posting.Happy to have had you along on the Challenge ride.
DeleteThat was an awesome way to put together your thoughts!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your hard work at the IWSG and for being a Ninja Minion.
I wrote up a few paragraphs and didn't think it was a fitting end to my cartoonery (think I just made up a word there) so I put on my thinking cap. As always, it's a pleasure working on your team.
DeleteAwesome poem!!
ReplyDeleteI would have loved to stay away from the computer but not so lucky this month.
I have editing deadlines and other writing commitments throughout May. I am looking forward to some computer free time in June.

And thanks for the mention! I'm honoured!
I'm just thinking that if you had to give up writing, you could try out boxing/wrestling... you'd make a formidable opponent (minus the lovely smile, of course...)
Love your unique reflection!
