How can little sis help her know-it-all sibling get out of a tight spot?

  1. It doesn't sound like the band is a good influence.

  2. There are times when parental invention is necessary. Teenagers simply don't have the coping skills to deal with some of these "extremely adult" problems. Little Sis needs reinforcements.

  3. True that, Alex.

You hit the nail, Robin. I imagine the fireworks to come if Little Sis calls for reinforcements.

  4. Big sis is going to hate it but I agree, parent intervention is necessary. I've been in a situation like this before and my siblings were not happy at all. But I love them and that's the only reason I've done it.

  6. Yep. Blow the whistle on little sister. She'll appreciate it when she's older and has better judgement.

  7. I'm the youngest in my family and I have a couple of know-it-all siblings and I have to say, there isn't really anything she can do because her sister won't listen either way. I agree with the others, asking for help from parents or other friends would be the best thing little sis could do.

  8. Use the secret weapon of little siblings: Turn her into the parental units.

  9. I am hoping that big sis has a good head on her shoulders and makes a good decision for herself. I hope that the parents are tuned in to what is going on in her life and will realize if she's going down the wrong path.

  11. Seems most are of one accord. This will make for a great plot movement.

  12. I'm always telling young people to focus on their grades and their education.

  13. Tell a parent if it's a really bad thing her sister has to do.

  14. Good advice, Medeia.

SJP - sounds like a sensible course of action.

    Wise choice, Sheena-Kay.
