A-Z Challenge Theme Reveal

Friday, March 21, 2014

Today is the Challenge Theme Reveal hosted by Damyanti’s team. Check out Jemima Pett’s blog to see the list of people taking part in this hop. Hop around and have fun seeing what people will be writing about during the Blogging from A-Z Challenge come April

On this blog, I’ll be doing Scenarios from A-Z. I’ll be asking readers what they’d do in a particular situation and see what problem-solving ideas they come up with. I’ve got oodles of books to finish and I’m partial to unorthodox ways of dealing with plot threads, so feel free to pop over during April. My posts will run along the lines of what’s happening below.

On my Jamaican Kid Lit blog, I’ll be featuring books for children—from stories for tots, to middle graders and young adults. If you have a book that you want featured, send me your book blurb, cover and a bio, plus a picture of yourself. Don’t be shy, send along that information to JamaicanKidLit at writeme dot com.

Thanks for stopping in. I’ll catch you at your blog later.

  4. Two blogs? You are gonna be one busy lady during A to Z.
As somebody who struggles with plot progression, I really like the sound of your theme. I could definitely learn quite a bit from the myriad ideas that I'm sure are going to come rolling in.
See you around on the A to Z circuit Joy!

  5. Hey, Julie. I think I must be a little bit mad, but we'll see.

Crystal. Yep, I hope to do them all in cartoons.

Thanks for dropping in. I look forward to hearing some of the stuff that people come up with.

  8. Hilary, I do hope to make fun and interesting.

Diane, yes, not a lot of writing or reading, which is easy on everybody.

  10. Hi J.L wow you do great drawings and comics, and its a great theme idea - just in case you don't get my reply to your comment on my post - I noticed that the web page link on your google profile is broken and it's really hard to find which one of your blogs are actually participating in the #atozchallenge. Perhaps you update it before April 1 or at least add a link to your blog in your comments. it would be a shame if other bloggers had trouble finding you.

  11. Hi, Joylene. I think I have the mind of a child which is why I'm always in exploration mode.

Ida, thanks for dropping in. Have to sort out that Google link. I'm not a fan of Google+, so haven't done much of anything with it.

  12. What a great theme! I, too, like to have my characters solve problems in unorthodox ways, so I'll be stopping by for ideas :D I'll also send along the info on my kids' books in a little bit.

  13. I think this wins as the most interactive A to Z Theme I have ever seen. Asking readers what they’d do in a particular situation and see what problem-solving ideas they come up - that's just brilliant. I'm definitely taking part in this one!!

(Thanks for commenting on my blog. Sorry,, but none of my ghost stories come from Egypt. They believe in djinis, black magic, and possession, but don't believe in ghosts or monsters.)
