Today is the
day when we get to share our insecurities with the writing world as well as
offer encouragement to those who need it. Thanks to Captain Alex and his team,
we can commiserate with each other on this writerly journey.
Lately, I’ve
been doing a lot of contemplation that has led me in a particular direction. We
know that there is never going to be enough time for the writing and promoting
we should be doing. Still, we do what we can, knowing there’s always tomorrow.
I’m in the
process of doing something significant about my tomorrows. The direction in
which I want to go will make me happy—without a doubt. And while I am still
working out details in my mind, my word of encouragement today is this - Follow your rainbow. You won’t know what
greatness you can accomplish if you never take that first step toward making
your dream a reality and fulfilling your God-given destiny.
Make sure you check over at the IWSG site. Crossing my
fingers that I’ll get this posted. Having internet trouble hereabouts. I'll
catch up with you later.
We do what we can today and that's all that we can do. Here's to pursuing the dream God gave us!
ReplyDeleteThat's great advice, J.L.! I wish you the best of luck and much success with your new direction. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, guys! :)
ReplyDeleteIf you're not happy on the journey, you won't be happy when you arrive, right?
ReplyDeleteFollow your rainbow. Yes!
ReplyDeleteWho doesn't want to fulfill there God-given destiny? Best wishes Joy.
ReplyDeleteGOOD for you, doing something about your tomorrows. Hugs and high-5s and best wishes!
ReplyDeleteI'm intrigued. But whatever it is, if it will bring you joy, I pray it happens in abundance!
ReplyDeleteNo better advice could be given. I hoping we'll be privy to your dreams at some point.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for you, Joy. I feel big things are about to happen.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for those uplifting words. Trying to reach for our dreams is so hard when life holds to to the ground. I hope whatever direction you are taking towards tomorrow works out for you.
