Happy to be hosting Rachel today!
If
you're a fan of the original Creepy Hollow covers, you'll be pleased to
know that the print editions of the books are keeping those original
covers. But the ebooks are about to get a facelift! Here are the brand
new covers!
THE FAERIE GUARDIAN
Amazon | Barnes&Noble | iTunes
Protecting humans from dangerous magical creatures is all in a day’s work for a faerie training to be a guardian. Seventeen-year-old Violet Fairdale knows this better than anyone—she’s about to become the best guardian the Guild has seen in years. That is, until a cute human boy who can somehow see through her faerie glamour follows her into the fae realm. Now she’s broken Guild Law, a crime that could lead to her expulsion.
The last thing Vi wants to do is spend any more time with the boy who got her into this mess, but the Guild requires that she return Nate to his home and make him forget everything he’s discovered of the fae realm. Easy, right? Not when you factor in evil faeries, long-lost family members, and inconvenient feelings of the romantic kind. Vi is about to find herself tangled up in a dangerous plot—and it’ll take all her training to get out alive.

A little bit about Rachel ...
Rachel Morgan was born in South Africa where she spent a large portion
of her childhood living in a fantasy land of her own making. After
completing a degree in genetics, she decided science wasn’t for
her—after all, they didn’t approve of made-up facts. These days she spends most of her time creating fictional worlds for young adults. When
she isn't writing, she's reading (duh!), catching up on addictive TV series,
and baking things that almost always include chocolate.Blog | Facebook | Twitter | Goodreads | Creepy Hollow websiteRachel's Facebook page has recently reached 1000 likes, and she's holding a giveaway to celebrate! You can enter by filling in the Rafflecopter form below.

Today is the Dream Destination bloghop hosted by Lexa Cain and Julie Flanders. We are supposed
to share with each other the place we’d most like to visit.
You can visit either Lexa or Julie at their blogs

So, here goes.
If you’ve been around here a time or two, or came
by for Crystal
Collier’s visit, you’ll know that I’m fascinated by all things Egyptian. I
think my love affair with that land developed in high school when I read Mark
Twain’s The Innocents Abroad, and
then there were those movies with mummies coming to life on Archaeological
digs.
I stole some of my own stuff off that post, which captures
some of the stuff I’d like to experience.
I know it’ll be hot and sandy, but I’d love to
see the Pyramids and the Sphinx in all their glory. I’d see firsthand the
methods that went building those wonders that are recognized worldwide. I’d
also want to experience the ancient art of mummification being performed (not
on me, of course, but interesting stuff, yes?). And of course, I’d want to take
a trip down the Nile.
I scare easily, but I’d want to visit the
ancient tombs. I imaging they’re crawling with ghosts.
Would I still like to visit? Yup!
Great new covers, Rachel!
ReplyDeleteIf you visit Egypt, Lexa would be happy to show you around.
Gotta agree, these covers are lovely.
ReplyDeleteLexa has the best of both worlds. :)
The covers look great! And when you go to Egypt, I'd like to go with you. :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Rachel! Love both of the covers.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm with you, I'd love to visit those ancient tombs. This is the second time I've seen Egypt today - great choice! Thanks again for participating, Joy!
Lovely covers, Rachel! And I'm not volunteering for mummification either, lol, but I'd love to visit Egypt too!
ReplyDeleteThose are all great covers! Egypt is a place with so much history. It would be a fascinating country to visit.
ReplyDeleteThose are some beautiful new covers!
ReplyDeleteEgypt is a fascinating place, and the trip down the Nile sounds wonderful! I hope you get to go someday soon!
Congrats to Rachel! The covers really are beautiful! Egypt is a wonderful destination! It would be amazing to see the Pyramids!
ReplyDeleteJulie
Thank you so much for sharing my covers!
ReplyDeleteIt would be really cool to see the pyramids and sphinx in real life one day.
Congrats to Rachel on the great-looking covers!
ReplyDeleteEgypt would be a fabulous destination. That place drips with history and (gulp) mystery. It would be amazing to see the Sphinx and the Great Pyramids... and the museums! Not sure about going down into a tomb, though. I'm not worried about ghosts or mummies or curses, but I'm not a fan of poisonous snakes.
I love the covers, especially the violet eyes of Faerie Guardian Violet! Wishing Rachel huge success with her series!
ReplyDeleteYou want to go to Egypt! Yay!!! I may be biased, but you couldn't have made a better choice. Of the Seven Ancient Wonders of the world, the pyramids are the only ones left. The size and beauty of the many phaoronnic statues is amazing, the people are so friendly, and romance perfumes the air. It's a wonderful place, and I'd love to show you around if you ever come. Thanks for joining the hop! :-)
Egypt is a great choice. Growing up, my mom was fascinated by all things Egyptian, so I too have always dreamed of going there. I hope each of us does eventually get to go.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to visit Egypt as well. Each time I start to plan for it, something happens over there and I cancel my plans.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Rachel and her new covers.
Oh, Egypt would be amazing!!! I can't imagine standing at the foot of a pyramid. I've always wanted to see them!
ReplyDeleteThose covers are amazing, too!
Egypt is a great location and congrats Rachel.
ReplyDeleteGreat new covers Rachel! You're not the only one to choose Egypt this blog hop... it's steeped in a history tied to such speculation of alien life, who wouldn't want to visit? Well, that's why I'd go... :P X
ReplyDeleteThe new Creepy Hollow ebook covers look great. And your dream destination sounds so wonderful :-)

ReplyDeleteThe covers look gorgeous. And Egypt looks like a wonderful place to go explore.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping in guys. If I haven't visited some of you yet, look out for me.
ReplyDeleteOh, the mummies! Plus so much history and neat things to see. An excellent choice for a dream destination to be sure!
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to visit Egypt too. Lexa will be giving lots of tours after this blogfest is over.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend, JL.

Great choice, Joy! I'd love to see Egypt too someday. Always wanted to go there!! And the way Lexa describes it makes me want to go even more now!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Rachel!
Ah, I'm also fascinated with Egypt... and we ARE "continental siblings". But I chose a different location... actually two!
ReplyDeleteAnd congrats to Rachel!
As a kid, I was addicted to Egypt, had tons of books about the Egyptian culture and loved to see all kinds of mummy flicks and stuff :)
ReplyDeleteGreat post!
Congrats to Rachel. I hope the new covers will work wonders because they are appealing.
ReplyDeleteJoy, Egypt (the Pyramids) is somewhere I want to visit. I was invited there a few years ago but the timing was not good.
Stunning covers.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to visit Egypt one day. Such a rich history there.
Visiting Egypt is one of my top destinations, as well. There is so much rich history to be found there, fascinating structures to explore, and so much rugged beauty.
