It’s here! Remember
the Overcoming
Adversity Bloghop? Nick Wilford
has put together an anthology from that bloghop. The funds raised will
contribute to his stepson’s education. Do support this worthwhile venture.Don't you just love the cover?
Blurb:
A collection of seventy moving
and uplifting original pieces - real life, flash fiction, and poetry - about
battling against the odds and the ultimate triumph of the human spirit. The
contributors include Amazon bestselling authors Alex J. Cavanaugh and Kyra
Lennon, and the cream of upcoming talent.
The anthology is part of a fundraising effort to send the editor's stepson, Andrew McNaughton, to a specialist college in England. Andrew has cerebral palsy, and is a remarkable young man with a promising future. However, the free further education options offered in his own country of Scotland will not challenge him and allow him to progress. In order to access the education he deserves, Andrew will have to pay exorbitant fees, thus creating a situation of discrimination.
Help us get Andrew to college by buying a book that runs the full gamut of human emotions, ultimately leaving you inspired and glad to be alive. Whatever struggles you are going through, our sincere hope is that this book will help.

As some of you know, I'm getting ready to launch a
middle-grade series. As usual, I’ll need your help with spreading the word.
The launch will be easy and
different. Bloggers will post a blurb and a fun challenge for readers. More details will follow shortly. Meanwhile, feel free to add your
link below.
I’ll be eternally grateful.
Here’s the blurb in a nutshell.
A domestic dispute.
A family shattered.
A shocking discovery.
A girl on a quest.
A life changed forever.

I'm taking part in the April A-Z Blogging challenge. Are you doing anything before or after April that I can take part in? Congrats on your MG book. Glad Nick got his book out and wish him luck raising the funds.
ReplyDeleteSheena, I wanted to give myself more time, but considering your question, (which I'm sure will be asked again), I might as well do the switch now.
DeleteI'm so glad to be a part of the launch with you. This is such a wonderful cause!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your launch too!!!
Thanks, Elsie.
DeleteCongratulations to Nick and Andrew! Honored to be a part of it.
ReplyDeleteI have the same question - can I help before the Challenge begins?
Thanks, Alex. I had the launch date set for the second week in April, but revised that considering that people will be super-busy in the A-Z.
DeletePosting the material I'll provide for March 27 is the easy part. Taking part in the 'challenge' I'm coming up with is also optional, but will take a few minutes to do. More on that later.
I love the idea behind Nick and Andrew's book and wish them the best!
ReplyDeleteAnd I should be able to help you spread the word about your new release on March 27th!
Thanks, Elise!
DeleteI admire Nick for taking on this project for his son. He's a beautiful person. I'm not signing up for your kidlit launch because it's the last week of my Monday Mania and it wouldn't be fair to the author I have that week. But if you'll send me stuff, I'll be happy to tweet and fb.
ReplyDeleteNo worries, Carol and thanks.
DeleteNick is a good guy. What a big heart!
ReplyDeleteAs for your MG series, I'll be in Hawaii that week. If it extends into April, send me the info!
Thanks, Emily. Will let you know.
DeleteAwesome. I just saw someone on this over at Alex's blog.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Nick!
ReplyDeleteAnd you :D
What a wonderful effort. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI hope Nick sells a million copies. :D Happy Monday, Joy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for supporting Nick, guys.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on the launch!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Nick and best to Andrew! :) Been seeing this all over the blogosphere. Yay!
ReplyDeleteI would love to help with your release. Looking forward to it:) Let me know details.
MDW, thanks for your good wishes.
ReplyDeleteRebecca. Thanks for dropping in. I appreciate your help. Details coming soon.
Love seeing Nick's anthology everywhere-- what an amazing thing to do. And good luck with your new book launch. Sounds like fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Shallee.
DeleteI signed up yesterday but somehow didn't leave a comment. Back again. Thank you for all your help with my book, Joy and I'm happy to help out with your MG launch!
ReplyDeleteNo worries, Nick. I know you're busy and thank you!
