  3. I'm loving "Distraction" thus far. You grabbed my attention by starting with a sex scene. That was a real page turner, very sensuous, etc. I could even feel your character putting the lotion on her skin. I also love how you included silhouettes of trees to give me that island feel at the beginning of the chapter. The proverbs are an interesting touch. I don't know how I feel about those. Thus far they haven't really added much to the chapter, but they are artistic. Distraction is very artistic (and distracting)!

      Thanks. Can you tell I spent a lot of time on that first chapter. :D The tree/island thingie was a brilliant touch from the person who did the cover and book layout - Courtney Vail. The proverbs are a mini synopsis of each chapter.
