Miscellany & A Holiday!

Good morning fellow bloggers!

Today is a national holiday (Heroes’ Day) in Jamaica. We celebrate the lives of six men and one woman who made meaningful contributions to Jamaican society.

On Friday, I participated in the Pay it Forward blogfest hosted by Alex J. Cavanaugh and Matthew McNish and still have a ways to go checking out blogs that people feel don’t get enough attention or are just worth reading.

I’ve also printed out my last WiP, Distraction and plan to read that this week. I’m now editing the sequel. But before that, I gotta write a couple of promised book reviews and a guest post. This past week, I read a cozy mystery  Pumpkin Roll. The author is running a contest for an iPad.  You can hop to her site from here.  And in case you missed it, Hardware comes out on November 1!

I’m not sure how many of you write blog posts in advance. Now that I’m pressed for time, I see the value in doing this. Thing is though, if I’m always pressed for time, how do I dedicate some to writing these things before I need them. Maybe set a specific hour aside one day and try and get a couple done? Dunno.

And to complicate matters, I have an idea I’d like to explore. It’d be a web-based business that I’ve discussed with a web-developer. Of course, he advised me to write out a plan detailing exactly what I want. Being short on time, you know I haven’t done that yet, right?

Anyhoo, I’m hoping to get some stuff done today.

So, are you one of those bloggers who do your posts in advance or are you like me, writing on the morning of?

Have a great day and meet some writing goals!
