I dislike veering off track once I start along a particular path, but I don’t have a choice today. I didn’t prep today’s post last night and left the phone connection, so can’t access the pictures I planned to post today. Nor will the phone email the darn pictures so I can post them! Anyhoo, had picture saved so here’s a lonely spathiphyllum bloom I captured months ago. We’ll be back to regularly scheduled programming next week.
I also noticed this lovely picture on a stamp. It's a light house in Lover's Leap, St. Elizabeth. I couldn't resist posting it.
And now for the announcement of the week:-
Many thanks to all of you who dropped in and shared your thoughts on A Line in the Ice by Jamie Craig. All the names went into a spreadsheet and the winner chosen through random.org is
Nas Dean |
Congratulations, Nas!
If you didn’t do the poll and you have the time and you enjoyed the interview, please take a moment to vote for my blog here. Scroll to the bottom of the page to cast your vote. I'd really appreciate your support.
This week, I did an interview with Wendy here and did a reading from Contraband here. Feel free to drop by if you have another minute to spare.
Have a great weekend and make sure you get some reading and/or writing done!
That lighthouse is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLove the lighthouse!
ReplyDeleteI'll show some love for the wonderful plant :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping in guys! Good thing, Sarah. The plant might have gotten a wee bit jealous.
ReplyDeleteAwesome pictures! And don't worry I'll be writing all day long LOL! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Nas!
ReplyDeleteLove the pics, JL.
Cool pics! I think I've got a plant like that:)
ReplyDeleteLighthouse and flower are beautiful. I'm sorry your phone is bratting out at you though.
ReplyDeleteAnd congrats to Nas!
Thanks, guys! Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Nas! I would be having a mini meltdown at the commo snafus though. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Joy,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the win! I'm so excited!
And thanks for sharing the lovely photos.
Hi Joy,
ReplyDeleteGood luck in the contest thingy, I just voted for your blog.
OMG, y'all have expensive stamps if I'm reading that right. Sixty bucks is kinda steep for a letter. :)
I love the stamp. No idea why, but I have a thing for lighthouses. Always thought they were beautiful. :-)
ReplyDeleteGlad for you too, Nas. I enjoyed the book myself and like I said, I'm not a sci-fi/paranormal fan.
ReplyDeleteTina, thanks ever so much. The cost of living is extremely high in Jamaica. That $60 is = to roughly sixty-nice U.S. cents. Dunno if that is still expensive in your world.
Misha, yes, the lighthouse is fascinating. Didn't even know there was one in St. Elizabeth!
Congratulations, Nas!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Nas!
ReplyDeleteI've seen those kinds of plants before--I didn't know that was their name, those. Spathiphyllum.
Cool lighthouse!
Intriguing pictures. Off to visit the links you suggested!
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping, guys!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the pictures. I will check those links too. Enjoy the weekend. Happy reading and writing!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Julia!
