Sharing more scenes from Kingston & St. Andrew. Enjoy your visit to the other side of Jamaica and have a great weekend!
St. William Grant Park - Downtown, Kingston |
Coronation Market - Downtown, Kingston. Most Jamaicans say 'Curry-Nation Market'. Yep, taking illegal verbal shortcuts is a national pastime. |
Market hazards - See the guy on the right with the shopping cart? It's possible to get a foot run over by one of these (or a hand cart) if you're not careful. Nimbleness is necessary for market trips. In case you're wondering, a handcart is a 4 wheeled contraption that kinda looks like a raft with a steering wheel attached. I'll capture an image on my next market visit.
Abandoned Courthouse in Half-Way-Tree.
Great photos - thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteHe's really set on being dracular, or is it Edward?
ReplyDeleteAw, young vamp is adorable. And the market sounds terrifying.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing all of these! (:
Thanks for stopping in, guys. He keeps asking me if Count Dracula is real, so who knows?
ReplyDeleteThe market can be bewildering.
I love the photos, JL. How many blogs do you have girl? And you've got books too. I didn't know that. Will have to grab one or two. :o))
ReplyDeleteWhen you have a moment, pop over and read my RFW contribution. I'd like to know what you think.
Have a fab weekend.
I've already been to visit you. :) I'm finding that I like African love stories.
ReplyDeleteCurrently, I'm writing three blogs. It's getting to the point where editing/writing is becoming a challenge.
Thanks for visiting.
Love the pictures! It definitely is one of the countries I'd like to visit one day.

Hope you do get to visit, Nutschell.
ReplyDeleteI love markets. Look at all that beautiful produce!
ReplyDeleteThe farmer's market shot is my favorite, but I still really love the photo from last week with the creative parking. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Joy,
ReplyDeleteCool pictures of Jamaica, thanks for sharing them! I would love to go to the "Curry-Nation Market" with all that fresh produce. Our local farmer's markets are so tiny in comparison.
What a cute little Vampire you have there. :)
Oh, Jamaica is one of those places on my bucket list. Thanks for the fun pictures
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. I'd like to visit Jamaica one day.
ReplyDelete*giggle* on the Count Dracula. Love the market shots! Markets always smell so good...
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your thoughts, folks. Hope you do get to visit one day!
ReplyDeleteDeniz, my son wouldn't agree with you. He went with me and kept complaining about the combined smells.
He's adorable! Does he watch Vampire Diaries on TV?
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the photos.
Hey, Nas.
ReplyDeleteNo, he doesn't and by the sound of the name, I wouldn't let him either. :)
