A Thank Ye

Today is my birthday and during the day, I thought all the things I don’t have, what I do have and I also thought about gratitude.

I’m thankful for a number of things, including my family and friends, the talent and inspiration God has given me to write, the virtual friends I’m made along the way, and the writers who took time to help me do a better job of crafting my stories. I’ll be eternally grateful to my critique partners who suffer through copious rewrites.

I’m also grateful for life’s many joys and sorrows. During painful times, I don’t always focus on what’s going well, but I’m always conscious that joy is always on the way.

I’m saying thanks today to all of you who stop by to read my ramblings, share your thoughts and offer words of wisdom when I need them.

I’m truly blessed.

    Happy birthday, two days late, Joy! In a scary form of logic, if you factor in the fact my FB birthday wish to you was two days early, the average means I'm now on time. Hmmm, I must not have gotten enough sleep last night, if this is how my brain is thinking. :)
