Romantic Friday Writers - Dire Moments

Friday, May 13, 2011

Amazing how I get addicted to all things internet. Couldn't post on blogger since yesterday and came close to a nervous breakdown. The withdrawals symptoms only relented just before I was able to get on again. In case you haven't heard about the Romantic Friday Writers Group, get the deets here or click on the RFW badge below.

I have another pretty blog to mess with and my first posting for the Dire Moments challenge is there.

  1. well, it's funny because since I've been sick, I missed all the fun with blogger being down but did realize when my latest had vanished- so no stress here except from feeling crappy!
Glad things are back up and moving along again!

  3. Your new site looks wonderful JL. And even though I don't write romance I'm a follower. You never know. Like you I find it difficult to resist a challenge.

  4. Deborah, half the thrill of getting the story ready was doing the decorating for its home.

Like you said, you just never know...I started with YA and moved to action/adventure and then mixed that up a little for romantic suspense. :)

  5. Agreed! Yesterday without Blogger felt a little like not having Internet access. P.S. Did you change the artwork in your blogger header? So beautiful - I love it. :-)

  6. Me, too -- yesterday was strange without Blogger. Amazing what you don't know about yourself until for-granted disappears.

  7. Liz and Kittie, yes, you don't know you're hooked until the fix disappears. :)

I did change the header. Loving it too! Thanks.

  8. You will not believe how frustrated I was Thursday and Friday because of blogger. It felt as though I was cut off from all life.

  10. Did you change your theme? I love the blue flowers. Gorgeous.

I had withdrawal symptoms, too. That's why I was overactive on Tumblr.

  11. Medeia,

Yes, I have changed my theme. I hope blogger doesn't any more down time for a while. Nerve wrecking!

  12. I thought it was just my blog that was down and that I did something to totally screw it up when I set it up, since I made so many mistakes getting that first posting on there. What a relief when I found out it wasn't something I did! How often does that happen? Crazy!

I, too, love the new design on your blog. I left a comment in an earlier post, but it probably got deleted with all the Blogger problems. I think this is my favorite disign so far of all the blogs I've visited.

  13. Hi, Lyn, I've made a mess of my blogs before, so at first I thought it must have been something I did too. :)

Thanks for the compliment. I'm always moving the furniture about on my blog.

  14. I was too busy on Thursday and Friday to go near Blogger... I guess that's a good thing.

Your new design is gorgeous. : )
