Meme...Take Five...Editing

Sunday, May 22, 2011

I've been tagged by L'Aussie Denise and here are the questions in this meme:

If you could go back in time and relive one moment, what would it be?
The moment I met my son.

If you could go back in time and change one thing, what would it be?
Let's say I'm not even admitting that to myself, so I can't even put the thought where I can see it. That's cheating, I know.

What movie/tv character do you most resemble in personality?

Will you think I've weird if I say Monk or Goren?

If you could push one person off a cliff and get away with it, who would it be?

If I told you, I'd have to hurt you. Seriously, I wouldn't. I have an overactive conscience, so I'm already in the middle of a guilt trip thinking about who I'd possibly push.

Name one habit you want to change in yourself.

I procrastinate too much, which is weird since I know that 'procrastination is the thief of time'.

Describe yourself in one word.

Describe the person who named you in this meme in one word.

Why do you blog? Answer in one sentence.

I started blogging to establish a platform for my writing, but now I do it because I enjoy connecting with other people.

Who am I tagging?

Deniz Bevan
Wendy Ewurum
Laura Marcella

In other business, I haven't been doing the Take Five With... giveaways for a while now because of the A-Z Challenge and my own giveaway. I'll be continuing that feature later this week, so look out for that.

Right now, I'm immersed in editing Hardware.  This novel is written under a pen name and will be out later this year. So on I go, writing, editing and writing some more. Tomorrow's Labour Day here, so you know what I'll be doing. Have a good week!

  1. Hi Joy. Lovely meme answers. Weirdish to go with Monk and Goren. I do miss Goren!

Ah, moody, I'd better look out!

  2. Fun meme -- Thanks for sharing. I don't know if I would be able to push anyone off a cliff either.

  3. Denise, yeah, I'm weird like that. Goren's back though on USA!

    Anne, thanks for stopping in.

  4. Hi! I hopped over from Jo's blog.

I was tagged recently myself with the same questions. Glad to know I'm not the only one who refuses to push people off cliffs. :)

  5. Donna, yeah, it can be a pain.

David, thanks for dropping by. I'd probably spend the rest of my life thinking about it, if I pushed anybody off a cliff, no matter how annoying they were.

  6. Ooh, it's been ages since I did a meme! They're fun - off to do this one now...

  7. Oh its so nice to learn something about you at last. You should do this more often.....
You sound so nice you make me feel guilty, I'm a bad
You know just how to tantalise even without even meaning to (if you didn't mean it, - answer to nr. 1 - can you imagine that line in a book.
I understand Monk with the OC behaviour you told me about when I said don't kiss the ground when you land in JHB airport. All I can imagine is how many hand washes you must go through.
btw, I think you're incredibly innovative, you may just not do it at the time you mean for it to happen. I talk to much I know.

  8. Hey, Wendy,

Thanks for stopping in. Gotta tell you, I used to think I didn't have time for this stuff. I still don't, but it's good to stop and smell the roses now and then.

The way I phrase my sentences could be why I write mostly romantic suspense. :)

And when I'm not washing my hands, I have hand sanitizer that sits on my desk. :D

Don't be shy, I'd love to hear what you think.
